Ice Skating

Ice skating has become a Winter tradition since we moved to Henderson. There is a fun ice skating rink out at Lake Las Vegas that we love, but unfortunately it was not open this year. So, we found an inside rink across town to let us get our one time a year ice skating fun in.

My pictures are all fuzzy for some reason, but it hopefully gets the point across. Every time we ice skate Abbie and Avery always leave the ice wanting to take lessons. They are pretty good out there. They always starts out wobbly and slow on the ice, but by the time it's time to leave they are doing all sorts of twirls and tricks.

They had these walkers you could rent for three dollars that Aliza loved. She could go super fast by herself which was wonderful.

Micah was a trooper because he did not necessarily want to ice skate, but he got out there with the girls to help them out.

Micah would give Aliza rides while she hung on to the front of the walker. That made it even faster.

Abbie was hard to get a picture of on the ice because she flew by so quickly. It didn't help that the rink was completely packed.

Aliza did do some skating without help, and she did great. By the end we were all freezing, and ready for some hot chocolate.
